  1. Never link directly: Use a screenshot (in your posts & comments)
    Priority: 0

Never name the antisemites. That extends to your regular comments. All username pings and reddit links are automatically removed.

Submit screenshots, be sure to retain the content's context. BLUR or CENSOR USERNAMES

  2. Post titles must include subreddit names: "[/r/…] title", post titles must be descriptive.
    Priority: 1

This helps shed light on and document the types of antisemitism, as well as if it's recurrent in a potential hotspot: "[/r/subreddit] your title"

Use descriptive, (as far as possible) non-inflammatory post titles with quotes were appropriate

  3. NO antisemitism & Definition of antisemitism
    Priority: 2

    Do not be antisemitic.

We use the IHRA definition of Antisemitism.

A more expansive definition was created by the mods of multiple Jewish subreddits here.

We do not play etymology games here.

  4. Only post about racism on reddit
    Priority: 3

As our name suggests, don't post off-site instances.

For instances of antisemitism on Instagram, you can document it on r/AntisemitismOnInsta

For instances of antisemitism on other social media, you can document it on r/AntisemitismOnSocials

  5. No use of antisemitism for political means
    Priority: 4

For instance, valid criticisms of the Israeli government are not antisemitism. Rule 3 gives a good distinction of criticism of the Israeli government vs. antisemitism.

  6. Don't interact with the antisemitism
    Priority: 5

Don't post, (dis)like, or comment on a post/comment shown. Do not report comments to the moderators of that subreddit. Assume they have already been reported. If you are OP here, you MUST stop posting in the original thread.

Do not go or encourage others to go to those subreddits and harass individuals or moderators. This is both against sitewide rules and those of this sub. This includes things like reporting. Only the person submitting the post should be reporting.

    Do not ping r/subreddit

  7. No trolling. Behave in a way that supports AiR's Healthy Functioning
    Priority: 6

No exceptions. Trolling is at mod discretion and includes brigading attempts. You must behave in a way that supports Antisemitism In Reddit's Healthy functioning.

Marked, moderate sarcasm/parody is ok, with removal at mod discretion.

  8. No usernames
    Priority: 7

Reiterating: All usernames MUST be redacted. Censor them in a way that is impossible to read. No highlighting so that you can read if you squint. This includes your own username.

Pinging usernames in comments will be automatically removed by automod. Mods generally will not see this happen, so just don't ping people.

To see what correct censoring looks like see this post

  9. Do not post about bans, moderator actions in other subreddits, moderators in other subreddits, etc.
    Priority: 8

Always be mindful of admin hypersensibility both in posts and comments.

Otherwise you hurt both your own account and this sub.

This is especially true for posting about bans (incl. shadowbans ; mod messages), as doing so "with the intent to incite a negative reaction" goes against reddit's Moderator Code of Conduct. Doing so will also allow the banning mods to get the admins to strike you.

  10. No Bigotry. Be Civil. Follow Reddit's Code of Conduct
    Priority: 9

Bigotry includes any speech that diminishes the humanity of any person or group of people on the basis of race, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, gender expression, nationality, origin, or disability. This is not an all-inclusive list. Mods may always use their own discretion.

    Bigotry also includes Islamophobia.

Do not call for violence. Do not upvote calls for violence. Do not attack each other in the comments.

Again, all of this is at moderator discretion.
