  1. Be respectful and kind
    Priority: 0

No harassment, hate speech, calling names, flaming, racism, sexist and discriminatory language or any bad or obvious behavior toward members is acceptable, this is a safe place for food lovers and kitchen enthusiasts to interact and engage freely and safely, any kind of similar act will cause an immediate ban.

  2. Use descriptive titles
    Priority: 1

Make your post titles clear and descriptive. Include specific details about the recipe or food topic if possible and of course avoid clickbait-style titles or vague descriptions.

  3. No spamming or excessive self-promotion
    Priority: 2

No excessive self-promotion, including links to blogs, websites, or YouTube channels, of course if the resource is useful we encourage you to link it, but keep in mind that providing value to the users on the sub and providing a nice user experience is the main goal here, so don't be spammy, refrain from posting low-effort or repeated content (e.g., "check out my new recipe" posts without much context).

  4. Use proper flairs
    Priority: 3

Use appropriate flairs for your post (e.g., sweet treats, savory bites, hacks, etc.), to help users easily navigate the content.

  5. Include the recipe if possible
    Priority: 4

If the post is a recipe idea and doesn't include a clear recipe (like ingredients, measurements, steps, ...), we highly encourage you to post the recipe on the comments or provide a link to it (remember to not spam the sub, remember that the benefit of other redditors is the main goal), if you don't have the full recipe and the post (video, images, ...) don't include it, use the flair "No Recipe".

  6. Stay On-Topic
    Priority: 5

Posts should be relevant to food, cooking, recipes, or culinary techniques. Off-topic posts, such as unrelated memes or general discussions, will be removed and members who posts irrelevant content reputedly may be banned permanently from the sub.

  7. Engage in discussions
    Priority: 6

Participate in conversations. Answer questions, share tips, and give feedback to others when you can. Ask for advice if you need help, we have a flair for that, "Questions", don'tbe shy of using it, but be specific about what you're looking for.
