This Subreddit focuses specially on the JumpChain CYOA, where the 'Jumpers' travel across the multiverse visiting both fictional and original worlds in a series of 'Choose your own adventure' templates, each carrying on to the next... Come here for discussion and fanworks from the reddit Jumpers!

  1. Don't be a Jerk

    Don't copy text from someone else's jump into yours. Plagiarizing isn't acceptable. Doing so will result in removal of your post, and if repeated, a ban.

    Don't change a few words in someone else's work and pass it off as yours. This includes using an AI to modify the original text. That still qualifies as plagiarism.

This rule is hard to enforce due to the nature of Google Drive and the fact that it is at times hard to tell who is making uploads, but it is considered *highly* impolite to post Jumps to the /tg/ Jumpchain Google Drive without first posting them in the thread there for feedback, and the same is likely true for SB, QQ, and the other various sites with Jumpchain communities. 11. While editing existing Jumps isn't officially banned here, it is highly frowned upon in all other Jumpchain communities- and isn't that popular among many users here, as well. The creation of original content is always welcome, but if you want to avoid being seen as a plagiarist it is far better to create an entirely new Jump rather than editing an old one without permission, no matter how many additions or changes you make. And don't lie about getting permission since you WILL get called out on it eventually. It has grown enormously over time now with hundreds of separate cyoa's all designed to link together. Here's the set up: You are contacted by an omnipotent entity. a dangerously bored omnipotent entity. It sends you across the multiverse you go on adventures to keep it entertained. Every world you arrive in you must survive for 10 years by whatever means you see fit. From there you can go home, stay in your current world or move on to a new one. You can keep your new abilities, gear, powers, friends, etc. from one adventure to the next. If you die, however, you are sent home immediately. You keep what you have so far, but your multiversal adventuring days are over. The Goal? well the original goal was to reach a sufficient power level to survive in the most dangerous of universes (like dragon ball z, Warhammer 40k, etc). At that point the entity would grant you the 'Planeswalker spark' to let you freely travel the universe at your leisure... but to some, the journey itself is it's own reward. **So what is this subreddit for?** This place is for Jumpchain discussion, fanworks and whatever else the Jumpers wish to do.
